having developed an early passion for media, music & communication it didn't take long for aza to realise that he would fit in well into an industry where it is considered ‘normal’ to be left alone in a padded room with a microphone.


his experience in radio includes acting station manager & content manager at fresh 92.7 in adelaide and his previous employment as imaging & new media producer and casual announcer at nova919/fiveaa as well as programming assistant & casual producer at mix102.3


some of aza’s milestones include

• becoming one of the youngest acting station managers in the country, managing 8 paid staff and over 200 volunteers and a station budget of over $1 million 
• finalist for 3 sacbaa awards including best station promo and best station sweeper
• host & producer of a top rating saturday night shift on nova 919 
• being involved in putting together the successful 24 hour licence application for fresh 92.7 
• the creation & execution of many survey promotions and station events for fresh 92.7, mix102.3 and nova 919
